Innovating Health Care Delivery

At the invitation of the government, we began operating in Rwanda over ten years ago. We work to strengthen the health systems in rural areas, serve as an adviser to the Ministry of Health, and drive innovation in health care delivery.

Our Programs

CANCER CARE

We are proving that it’s possible to implement a model of high quality cancer care in a low resource, rural setting.

INFECTIOUS DISEASE

We implemented a community-based accompaniment approach for HIV/AIDS and TB that pairs medical interventions within a wide range of basic health and social services.

NON COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

Noncommunicable diseases lead to more deaths globally than all other causes combined. Our integrated approach to NCD care makes it feasible in low-resource settings.

CHILD HEALTH

Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We work to decrease child mortality by ensuring children have access to high quality health services.

WOMEN'S HEALTH

We work to eliminate preventable maternal deaths by improving the quality of obstetrical care, timely access to care, and quality of family planning and counseling.

COMMUNITY HEALTH

Community health workers help patients to overcome barriers to healthcare by accompanying them throughout their treatment.

MENTAL HEALTH

We work to bring high quality mental health care to those who need it by implementing a model that is effective in rural low-income settings.

LIVELIHOOD

By treating root causes of illnesses such as food insecurity and homelessness we are working to end the poverty-illness cycle.

RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE

We help patients overcome barriers to accessing quality health services at the tertiary level and beyond.
